The Richards’ house

This architectural home had not been updated since it was built in the late 1990’s. The clients were completely open to ideas and suggestions, but wanted a classic contemporary look that would stand the test of time and compliment their existing kitchen cabinetry and carpet.

For the bathroom and ensuite we used a neutral palette with soft taupes, cool creams and custom-made cabinetry in dark wood to contrast. The matte off-white basins and bath added another texture with brushed nickel tap ware and accessories.

The wall colour we chose throughout the home had depth and a slight chameleon factor, throwing a hint of a green or a cool brown tone, depending on the light and situation.

We took the bathroom cabinetry finish throughout the bedroom, study and media room, creating bold cabinetry fit-for-purpose.

Linen drapes and white venetian blinds completed the home.
