Moore House

A beautiful sprawling home built in 1925.  

The client wanted a soft translucent look for the drapery in the lounge, lined for warmth in the evening.   We chose a sand-washed, opaque linen in a soft white to the light illuminate the leading edges. To keep the look simple but luxurious – we used an inverted pleat heading with a puddle on the floor and added a roman blind in the same fabric for the small window to the side. Insider then sourced furniture to complete the scheme with a custom made velvet sofa to vary the texture and opulence.
